I was born in a small village called Lengede. It belongs to the district of Peine, a nice town between Hanover and Braunschweig in the northern part of Germany.

Lengede is known for the "Wonder of Lengede", that happened in 1963. 14 days after a desastrous mining accident the rescuers were still able to save some of the miners.

Fortunately my father did not work there when the accident happened. Otherwise you would not be able to admire this beautiful website now.

When I was 6 we moved to Peine where I live until today.

Maybe you have never heard of Peine before - but our steel and our beer is known worldwide!
